About Global Data and BI Global Data and BI is hiring on a rolling basis for Data, BI & Analytics and ML/AI projects for large corporations. Beyond consulting services, we build production-ready business platforms and SaaS applications that leverage modern cloud technologies, data analytics, and AI capabilities. We deliver enterprise-grade solutions with certified engineers in AWS and Microsoft Azure / Power BI technologies. Our focus includes transformation projects in the financial industry, custom platform development, and our proprietary Noème suite of products. Summary

We're looking for a motivated early-career sales professional with an entrepreneurial and building spirit to join our Outbound Sales Development team covering the AMER (Americas) region! As a member of the team, you'll be instrumental in helping define our outbound sales motion for Noème products, generate qualified pipeline for enterprise data and AI solutions, and drive business revenue while learning about cutting-edge data and AI technologies.

What you'll do (roles & responsibilities)

  • Sell products that solve real problems: Help enterprise clients transform their data operations with Noème.AI platforms and custom data solutions that drive measurable business outcomes
  • Work with our early-stage outbound sales team to experiment with pipeline generation tactics and strategic approaches for data and AI solutions
  • Identify and analyze target prospects based on market signals, firmographic data, and product fit indicators for data/AI solutions
  • Identify target customer segments by analyzing customer data across Salesforce, in-product usage metrics, financial data, and data warehouses
  • Conduct research on target accounts in financial services, enterprise technology, and other industries to understand their data maturity and AI readiness
  • Reach out to prospects via email, phone, and LinkedIn to educate them on Noème products, data engineering services, and AI/ML capabilities
  • Experiment with different audiences, messaging, and channels to generate qualified opportunities for Enterprise sales team
  • Conduct high-level discovery calls with executives (CIOs, CDOs, VPs of Data, IT Directors) in target accounts across AMER territory (Canada, USA, Latin America)
  • Demonstrate understanding of data platforms, cloud technologies (Azure/AWS), and business intelligence solutions to engage technical and business audiences
  • Utilize active listening skills to understand and uncover customer needs, data challenges, and business problems to effectively communicate how Noème can solve them
  • Qualify prospects to determine whether they're a good fit for Noème products and GDBI services based on data maturity, budget, timeline, and decision-making authority
  • Organize and maintain thorough notes on prospects and accounts in Salesforce CRM
  • Help build the foundations of outbound sales at GDBI: As an early member of the outbound team, you'll help shape our sales processes, playbooks, and best practices
  • Create reports and dashboards in Salesforce to track pipeline metrics, conversion rates, and sales activities
  • Provide market insights and customer feedback to Product and Marketing teams to inform product roadmap and positioning
  • Work with AMER Sales leadership to build, analyze, and optimize pipeline generation strategies for different market segments
  • Collaborate with Marketing team on campaign development, messaging, and lead generation programs
  • Partner with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities and support deal progression
  • Maintain a high volume of outbound activities while ensuring quality of engagement and personalization
  • Track key performance metrics including calls/emails sent, meetings booked, opportunities created, and pipeline generated
  • Stay current on data and AI industry trends, competitive landscape, and Noème product capabilities

What you should have (Must-Haves)

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Minimum of 6 months of outbound sales development experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, technology, or high-growth environment
  • Passion for customers and natural empathy for understanding their business needs and challenges
  • Growth mindset and view challenges as learning opportunities, not failures
  • Creativity and tenacity in outbound prospecting efforts across multiple channels (calls, emails, LinkedIn, video)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage both technical and business audiences
  • Energized to be part of the building phase for the revenue team in a high-growth company
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and manage your own activity levels and pipeline
  • Comfortable with rejection and able to maintain positive attitude and persistence
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in CRM management
  • Ability to learn quickly about technical products and articulate value propositions
  • Coachable with desire to continuously improve sales skills and techniques
  • Results-oriented with focus on achieving and exceeding activity and pipeline metrics

Nice-to-Haves

  • Technical understanding of data platforms, cloud computing (Azure/AWS), business intelligence, and AI/ML concepts
  • Experience selling to financial services, enterprise technology, or other regulated industries
  • Prior experience with Salesforce CRM, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other prospecting tools
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French (strong asset for Quebec and Canadian market prospecting)
  • Spanish or Portuguese language skills (asset for Latin America market prospecting)
  • Understanding of data engineering, analytics workflows, and enterprise data architectures
  • Knowledge of enterprise sales processes and complex buying cycles
  • Experience conducting discovery calls and needs analysis with technical buyers
  • Familiarity with SQL or data analysis for account research and segmentation
  • Background in consulting, professional services, or enterprise software sales
  • Experience working in a startup or scale-up environment
  • Understanding of IT procurement processes and enterprise buying centers
  • Active participation in professional development (sales training, certifications, networking)

Work details

  • Location: Remote (EST timezone preferred for AMER market coverage)
  • Reporting relationship: You will report to the Sales Development Manager or Director of Sales

Compensation

Competitive base salary plus commission structure, adjusted to your local market and country of residence. Compensation is location-based and reflects regional market standards. We benchmark against leading technology companies in your country to ensure competitive, fair pay. This role includes performance-based commission tied to pipeline generation and opportunity quality.
