International Experience Program Manager

About Global Data and BI Global Data and BI is hiring on a rolling basis for Data, BI & Analytics and ML/AI projects for large corporations. Beyond consulting services, we build production-ready business platforms and SaaS applications that leverage modern cloud technologies, data analytics, and AI capabilities. We deliver enterprise-grade solutions with certified engineers in AWS and Microsoft Azure / Power BI technologies. Our focus includes transformation projects in the financial industry, custom platform development, and our proprietary Noème suite of products. Summary

Our teams operate bilingually across Canada (English/French) and serve clients globally. As an International Experience Program Manager, you will lead the localization and internationalization strategy for our Noème product suite and client platforms. You will go beyond translation to ensure our products and content resonate globally, working across product, engineering, design, and business teams to deliver exceptional international experiences. You will manage the end-to-end localization process for product launches, marketing initiatives, and client deliverables across multiple languages and markets.

You will own the strategy and execution of our internationalization roadmap, defining standards, processes, and tools that enable scalable global expansion. You will leverage data, product thinking, and cross-functional partnerships to drive adoption and satisfaction across diverse markets and languages.

What you'll do (roles & responsibilities)

  • Own and drive localization strategy for the Noème product suite (Noème.AI-Academia and other platforms) across multiple languages
  • Lead internationalization efforts for major product launches, ensuring seamless global rollout and market readiness
  • Manage end-to-end localization for client platforms and custom SaaS applications, coordinating with engineering and product teams
  • Define and implement localization operations, workflows, and best practices that scale efficiently across the organization
  • Shape the internationalization roadmap by setting goals, priorities, and success metrics aligned with business objectives
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, design, data science, and business teams to integrate localization into product development lifecycle
  • Establish and manage relationships with localization vendors, translation services, and linguistic resources
  • Build and maintain localization infrastructure using TMS (Translation Management Systems), CMS, CAT tools, and other technologies
  • Ensure compliance with regional requirements, cultural nuances, and market-specific regulations for financial services
  • Drive quality assurance processes for translated content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and cultural appropriateness
  • Analyze localization metrics and user feedback to continuously improve international user experience
  • Manage localization budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multiple concurrent projects
  • Champion internationalization requirements early in product design and development phases
  • Create and maintain localization style guides, glossaries, and translation memories for consistency
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation tools to improve localization efficiency and quality

What you should have (Must-Haves)

  • Bachelor's degree required (master's an asset) in International Studies, Communications, Linguistics, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years managing localization from concept to completion for product and marketing at a tech company with global reach
  • Hands-on experience with localization tools and systems (TMS, CMS, CAT tools, Figma, GitHub/GitLab for i18n)
  • Experience owning and driving large-scale product launches in 20+ languages with cross-functional teams
  • Strong product and operations judgment with bias toward scalable, impactful, maintainable solutions
  • Proven ability to collaborate with product, engineering, data science, design, and business teams
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French (required for Quebec operations and Canadian market)
  • Experience establishing localization workflows, style guides, and quality assurance processes
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent localization projects
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across teams
  • Comfortable operating with high ownership and autonomy in ambiguous environments
  • Ability to prioritize ruthlessly and make data-driven decisions about localization investments
  • Understanding of internationalization (i18n) technical requirements and best practices
  • Experience with localization for enterprise software or SaaS platforms
  • Knowledge of cultural nuances and market-specific requirements for different regions

Nice-to-Haves

  • Fluency in additional languages beyond English and French (Spanish, Portuguese, German, or other European/Asian languages)
  • Experience with localization for financial services or regulated industries
  • Technical background with understanding of software development lifecycle and localization engineering
  • Experience using data analytics to measure localization impact and ROI
  • Knowledge of AI-powered translation tools and when to use them strategically
  • Experience with accessibility standards and inclusive design for international audiences
  • Background in UX writing or content design for technical products
  • Experience managing localization for mobile applications (iOS/Android)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and integrating localization into sprint cycles
  • Experience with localization for data visualization, dashboards, and analytics interfaces
  • Understanding of Quebec language laws (Bill 96/Law 14) and French-first requirements
