About Global Data and BI Global Data and BI is hiring on a rolling basis for Data, BI & Analytics and ML/AI projects for large corporations. Summary

As a Business Systems Analyst for Go-to-Market Systems, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how Global Data and BI's revenue organization operates and scales. You will partner closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Client Success, Project Delivery, and Business Technology leadership to architect and optimize our GTM technology stack, integrating automation, data, and AI-powered workflows to help teams operate smarter and faster.

This is a strategic and high-impact role where you will combine systems architecture thinking, process design, and business intuition to unlock operational efficiency. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, implement scalable solutions, and help define how Global Data and BI uses technology and automation to support our consulting business and product sales.

What you'll do (roles & responsibilities)

  • Design and deliver GTM systems strategy by defining a roadmap that scales sales, client success, and delivery operations through process optimization, automation, and intelligent tooling
  • Lead large-scale system initiatives from discovery through delivery including business process design, technical configuration, integration, testing, change management, and user enablement
  • Optimize Salesforce and sales technology stack including configuring workflows, automations, dashboards, reports, and integrations to support lead-to-revenue processes
  • Drive AI and automation adoption by implementing AI-driven insights, workflow automation, and intelligent tools into sales and delivery workflows to reduce manual work and improve decision-making
  • Enable scalable revenue operations by designing systems that support efficient opportunity management, pipeline visibility, forecasting accuracy, client lifecycle management, and data quality
  • Implement and optimize PSA (Professional Services Automation) tools for project management, resource planning, time tracking, utilization reporting, and project profitability analysis
  • Design client success systems using platforms like Gainsight or similar tools to track client health, engagement, satisfaction, and expansion opportunities
  • Build data integrations between CRM, ERP, project management, financial systems, and data platforms to ensure seamless data flow and single source of truth
  • Act as trusted business partner to Revenue Operations, Sales, Client Success, and Project Delivery leadership to translate business strategy into scalable system solutions
  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through technology, automation, and process redesign
  • Create and maintain documentation including process flows, system architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and user training materials
  • Support system governance through data standards, security controls, user access management, and ongoing optimization to ensure reliability and compliance
  • Collaborate with Finance on quote-to-cash processes, revenue recognition systems, and financial reporting requirements
  • Drive user adoption through training, change management, and ongoing support to ensure teams effectively use systems
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies that improve sales, delivery, and client success operations
  • Develop dashboards and reports that provide visibility into key business metrics (pipeline, revenue, utilization, client health)
  • Support data quality initiatives to ensure clean, accurate, and reliable data across all business systems
  • Manage vendor relationships with technology partners and consultants
  • Stay current with sales technology trends, automation tools, and AI-powered business applications

What you should have (Must-Haves)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • 6-8 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Sales Systems Analyst, RevOps Systems Analyst, or Solution Architect focused on GTM systems
  • Deep Salesforce expertise including configuration, automation (Flow, Process Builder), reporting, dashboards, and data management
  • Understanding of sales technology ecosystem including tools for sales engagement, lead routing, pipeline management, and analytics
  • Experience with business process design and ability to translate complex business requirements into clear system solutions
  • Strong technical and analytical skills with comfort working on data models, API-based integrations, and workflow automation
  • Experience with integration platforms (Zapier, Workato, Tray.io, MuleSoft) connecting CRM, ERP, and business applications
  • Proven ability to lead projects from requirements gathering through implementation and adoption
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work with both business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Experience with data analysis and creating meaningful reports and dashboards
  • Understanding of consulting or professional services business models including project-based revenue, resource utilization, and client lifecycle
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking to identify root causes and design effective solutions
  • Ownership mindset with ability to drive initiatives independently while balancing strategic thinking with execution
  • Experience with change management and driving user adoption of new systems and processes
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Nice-to-Haves

  • Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator certification
  • Experience with PSA tools (FinancialForce, Kantata, Mavenlink, ServiceNow SPM, Projector, or similar) for professional services organizations
  • Experience with customer success platforms (Gainsight, ChurnZero, Totango) for client health tracking and expansion
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Monday.com, Asana, Jira, Microsoft Project)
  • Experience with financial systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct) and quote-to-cash processes
  • Knowledge of data and analytics consulting business operations and how systems support delivery teams
  • Experience implementing or using AI-powered tools (AI copilots, LLM-based assistants, intelligent automation)
  • Understanding of revenue recognition requirements for subscription and services businesses
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) for business reporting
  • Technical skills including SQL, data modeling, or scripting for advanced customizations
  • Experience in high-growth or rapidly scaling consulting/services organizations
  • Knowledge of marketing automation (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) and how it integrates with sales systems
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools and their integration with CRM/ERP
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS ecosystem and how they support business operations
  • Understanding of sales methodologies (MEDDIC, Challenger, Solution Selling) and how systems support them
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French (asset for supporting Quebec operations and bilingual business processes)

Work details

  • Location: Remote (EST timezone preferred for collaboration with revenue and operations teams)
  • Reporting relationship: You will report to the Director of Business Technology, Director of Revenue Operations, or VP of Operations
